Social media has been posting images of the attack and a large plume of smoke erupting near Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport early yesterday morning (May 4, 2025) local time. Israeli media reported that the attack resulted in at least four people being injured, but no one was seriously injured. It also damaged several cars parked at the airport, and flights had to be temporarily suspended, leaving many passengers stranded. As several airlines, including Lufthansa, British Airways and Air France, announced temporary suspensions of flights to Tel Aviv for the next 1-3 days.
